University of Exeter

The University of Exeter has two principal campuses, separated by 100 miles of (quite often) wild moorland. The main campus is in Exeter itself, up the (steep) hill from the train station (1¼ hours south west from Bristol), and is very green and manageable. The city is also home to the St Luke’s Campus, which is about a mile and half away across the city. To the west, near Falmouth, is the Cornwall Campus, which is shared with University College Falmouth.

The Streatham Campus in Exeter is the far larger of the three, but all the campuses have a relaxed atmosphere, heightened by the better weather (by English standards) and proximity to the sea and fantastic countryside. The Cornwall Campus is still very much in its nascent stages, so all the facilities are very up-to-date.

Famous alumni of the University of Exeter include royal Peter Phillips, author JK Rowling, and Radiohead front man Thom Yorke.
